DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College women's basketball team (1-11, 0-6 CC) was defeated by Warren Wilson College (2-16) by a score of 84-82 at Belk Arena on Thursday evening.
The Fleet overcame a double-digit first-quarter deficit by dominating the middle periods to take a double-digit lead of their own, behind three 20-plus point scorers in
Albany Wilson (23),
Ahrianna Scott (22), and
Kaela Ward (20). However, the Owls stormed back in the fourth quarter to stun the Fleet.

Erskine shot 39% (32-83) from the field but just 20% (4-20) from the three-point line and just 56% (14-25) from the free throw line. The Fleet had an 18 to 10 advantage in second chance points but could not contain the Owls in transition, who totaled 32 fast break points.
