ROME, Ga. – The Erskine College women's basketball team (1-10, 0-6 CC) was defeated by Shorter University (7-7, 5-2 CC) by a score of 89-51 in a divisional battle at the Winthrop-King Centre on Tuesday.

THE TEAM
Erskine shot 34% (18-53) from the field but just 27% (6-22) from the three-point line. The Fleet lost the turnover battle, 24 to 18, and only managed a season-low 9 offensive rebounds.

WHAT'S NEXT? 
Erskine returns home for the remainder of the week, starting with a non-conference battle against Warren Wilson College (1-16) on Thursday at 6 p.m. The Fleet have won all five meetings against the Owls.
