Erskine shot just 31% (19-62) from the field and a season-low 10% (3-30) from the three-point line as well as just 57% (8-14) from the free throw line. The Fleet allowed a season-best 66 points in the game, holding the Hawks in the 30% range from the field and the three-point line but were unable to find enough offense.
WHAT'S NEXT?
Erskine returns home for the weekend, but a tall test awaits the Fleet when conference favorites, UNC Pembroke (8-6, 5-1 CC), come to town on Saturday at 4 p.m. The Fleet gave the Braves a real test in their last visit to Due West, a 61-57 UNC Pembroke win a season ago.
