ANDERSON, S.C. – The Erskine College football team (0-1) was defeated by Anderson University (2-0) by a score of 35-7 at Melvin & Dollie Younts Stadium on Saturday in the Fleet's 2025 season opener.

Rodshaun Dorsey hauled in a 16-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Killmer in the fourth quarter for the Fleet's lone score of the game.

• Erskine quarterback Ryan Killmer was 16-for-25 for 118 yards and a touchdown in his first collegiate start.
• Logan Coldren led the Fleet rushing attack, totaling 68 yards on 15 carries.
• Rodshaun Dorsey had a game-high 10 receptions for 74 yards and a touchdown.
• Derick Simon, Jr. led the Fleet defense with 5 tackles, while Myles Robertson, Gary Maddox III, and Andrew Melton each recorded a tackle for loss.

Erskine goes back on the road next weekend to take on Division-I opponent, Presbyterian College (2-0) next Saturday at 7 p.m. Erskine battled PC in what finished in just a two-possession game last season.
