DUE WEST, S.C. – Erskine Flying Fleet Football officially announced its 2025 schedule on Thursday morning.
This will be the first season for football in Conference Carolinas since 1974-75, with the Fleet playing in six conference games, including three home contests.
"For the first time in 51 years, we are excited to have football back in Conference Carolinas," Conference Carolinas Commissioner Chris Colvin said. "The competition on our campuses will bring about new rivalries and traditions, creating great experiences for our student-athletes."
Erskine will start the year on the road for the first three games, beginning with the season opener at St. Andrews on August 30. The Fleet put together a historic performance in a convincing 52-0 win over the Knights to begin the 2024 campaign. Erskine will then have a week off before traveling to Division-I opposition, Presbyterian, on September 13 and then visit Brevard the following Saturday.
The Fleet will finish non-conference play at Delta State on September 27. Erskine was scheduled to play the Statesmen last season, but the game was canceled due to the effects of Hurricane Helene.
Then, Erskine begins Conference Carolinas play with its home opener against UNC Pembroke on November 4 in the first ever meeting between the teams. The following Saturday Erskine will host North Greenville. The Fleet and Trailblazers played in a thrilling 52-35 shootout in Tigerville last year.
Erskine will then go on the road for conference matchups at Shorter and Ferrum, before returning home for Homecoming against Chowan on November 1.
The Fleet conclude the regular season at Barton on November 8, with Conference Carolinas postseason play taking place on November 15.
