HOW IT HAPPENED
Jorge Pascual gave the Fleet an early lead with an RBI single in the first and Josean Sanchez followed with a run-scoring hit of his own in the second to make it 2-0 Erskine. After USC Aiken tied the game in the bottom half, Wilder Puertas' RBI double put the Fleet back in front, 3-2. Again, the Pacers tied the game in the bottom half, but it didn't take long for the Fleet to respond, as a Pascual RBI groundout made it 4-3 Erskine after four innings. USC Aiken scored twice in the fifth to take its first lead and added two more in the sixth, meaning the Fleet suddenly trailed 8-4 after six innings. But, Dylan Wanat launched a three-run blast to right center field to get Erskine within a run, and after Chris Giordano retired the side in order in the bottom of seventh, Quinn Allen's RBI double in the eighth plated Pierce Radke to tie the game at 8. Giordano posted another zero in the bottom half, sending the game to the ninth, tied at 8. Wanat led off the frame by beating out an infield single, moved to second on the sacrifice bunt from Josh Hungler, and scored on Josean Sanchez's two-out single to put Erskine back in front. Jared Guell came on for the bottom of the ninth and navigated through a leadoff double to preserve the Erskine win.

THE PLAYER
Josean Sanchez had a pair of hits and a stolen base atop the Erskine lineup, including the game-winning RBI single in the ninth to cap the Fleet's comeback road win.
