DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College women's tennis team defeated Lander University by a 6-1 scoreline at the Sloan-Cox Tennis Courts in the Fleet's first home match of the season on Thursday afternoon.

After a long five-game road stretch to begin the season, Erskine rolled past the Bearcats in their first home contest of the year and got back into the win column to break a brief three-match losing streak.
