BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Erskine College men's volleyball team (5-6, 1-2 CC) defeated Lees-McRae Colllege (1-12, 1-4 CC) in four sets at Williams Gymnasium on Friday evening.
Erskine bounced back after dropping the opening set, as the Fleet's front row showed off their dominance, led by six blocks apiece from
Shayo Asiru and
Tyler Kuehl.

Shayo Asiru led the way for the Fleet with 6 kills on just 13 swings, but his defensive work on the front row was even more impressive, tallying a season-high 6 blocks to go along with 3 digs.

Erskine hit .236 (42 K / 17 E / 106 TA) for the match, while holding LMC to just a .107 hitting percentage, thanks to dominance from the Fleet in the blocking department, as Erskine outblocked the Bobcats, 13 to 6.
