CENTRAL, S.C. – The Erskine College women's basketball team (5-19, 3-15 CC) was defeated by Southern Wesleyan University (8-18, 4-14 CC) by a score of 81-60 at Tysinger Gymnasium on Wednesday evening.

THE TEAM
Erskine shot 31% (20-64) from the field and 30% (7-23) from the three-point line, as well as 68% (13-19) from the free throw line. The Fleet were outscored 28 to 15 in the opening quarter and struggled to get back into the game after a slow start.

WHAT'S NEXT? 
Erskine has its final road game of the regular season this weekend, when the Fleet take on Converse University (8-16, 6-11 CC) on Saturday at 2 p.m.
