SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Erskine College women's basketball team (5-20, 3-16 CC) was defeated by Converse University (9-17, 7-12 CC) by a score of 70-49 at Tom & Tracy Hannah Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.

THE TEAM
Erskine shot just 26% (15-57) from the field and 22% (4-18) from the three-point line, as well as 65% (15-23) from the free throw line. The Fleet were outscored in the paint by the Valkyries, 30 to 18.

Erskine closes out the regular season with a home contest against Young Harris College (18-8, 12-6 CC) on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
