DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College women's basketball team (5-18, 3-14 CC) was defeated by King University (11-14, 9-9 CC) by a score of 71-45 at Belk Arena on Saturday afternoon.

Erskine honored this year's senior class: Janelle Carter, Essence Caviness, Mariah Moody, Aricka Moore, Ianna Odulaja, and Reilly Ward after the game.

THE TEAM
Erskine shot 31% (15-48) from the field and 25% (5-20) from the three-point line, but just 48% (10-21) from the free throw line. The Fleet turned the ball over 31 times, which King converted into 38 points.

WHAT'S NEXT? 
Erskine is on the road all next week, starting with a trip to Southern Wesleyan University (7-18, 3-14 CC) on Wednesday at 5 p.m. in a huge game for the Fleet's conference tournament chances.
