BELMONT, N.C. – The Erskine College men's basketball developmental team won a pair of games in the final round of the 2025 Conference Carolinas Developmental Championship on Monday at the Wheeler Center, as the Fleet won the title for the second straight year. Senior guard
Kyale Lindsay was named Tournament MVP, after scoring in double figures in both games.
Erskine began the day with an 86-76 win over Barton in the semifinals and then routed Lees-McRae, 91-63, in the championship game.
The Fleet used balance in the semifinals, as five different Erskine players reached double figures in scoring, led by a team-high 19 points from
Mike Baker. In the championship game, the duo of
KD Gordon (20 points) and
Kyale Lindsay (19 points) helped the Fleet outscore LMC by 23 in the second half and run away with their second straight men's basketball developmental title.
