GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas released its 2025 football all-conference honors as chosen by the league's head coaches on Thursday afternoon and Erskine had three representatives on the Second Team;
Logan Coldren,
Gary Maddox III, and
Ethan Miller in the first season of football in Conference Carolinas in 51 years.
Coldren, a redshirt sophomore running back from Simpsonville, South Carolina in his first season with the Fleet, led Erskine in every significant rushing stat and was the Fleet's most consistent offensive player throughout the year. He totaled 923 yards on the ground and added seven touchdowns, averaging nearly five yards per carry and 83.9 yards per contest. Three of Coldren's four games where he crossed the 100-yard mark came in conference play, including a monster 161-yard and three touchdown performance at Ferrum. He also served as a viable receiving option out of the backfield, making 19 catches for 115 yards as well.
Maddox III, a redshirt sophomore linebacker from Commerce, Georgia was a presence off the edge with game-changing plays for the Erskine defense all season long. He led the Fleet in sacks (4) and QB hurries (5), while finishing second on the team in tackles for loss (5.5) and third in total tackles (48). Maddox played in every game for the Fleet in 2025 and recorded Erskine's first safety since the program was revived in 2020, a sack safety to open the scoring against Chowan. A consistent performer, Maddox recorded a sack in five different contests and a tackle for loss in seven separate games.
Miller, a redshirt freshman punter from Powdersville, South Carolina became Erskine's second all-conference punter since the program was brought back in 2020. He averaged over 38 yards per punt on the season, including a career-best 60-yard punt against North Greenville. Miller recorded punts of 50+ yards three separate times this year and pinned opponents inside their own 20-yard line six times.
Conference champions, North Greenville, took home the Offensive Player of the Year (Dylan Ramirez), Special Teams Player of the Year (Cillian Bonner), and Coach of the Year (Nate Garner), while UNC Pembroke's Isi Etute and Barton's Keno Jones shared Defensive Player of the Year. Shorter's Isaac Walls and UNCP's Hunter Turner were named Co-Offensive Lineman of the Year, and Ferrum's Omarza Gray and Shorter's Jayden Rubbo earned the league's Freshman Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year, respectively.
