DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College women's volleyball team (7-16, 5-10 CC) was defeated by King University (8-13, 6-8 CC) in five sets at Belk Arena on Saturday afternoon.

Erskine hit .187 (61 K / 24 E / 198 A) for the match, slightly edging King's .181 hitting percentage. The Fleet outblocked the Tornado, 10 to 6, and had an 11 to 7 advantage in aces but were unable to win a see-saw affair on Saturday.

Erskine has the mid-week off before making the trip to North Carolina next weekend to take on the University of Mount Olive (11-13, 9-7 CC) on Friday at 6 p.m.
