HOW IT HAPPENED
In a match dominated by defending which led to a lack of goalscoring opportunities, the Fleet and Warriors played to a scoreless first hour of the match. Although SWU opened the scoring in the 70th minute, Erskine responded with more attacking impedus and their pressure was rewarded in the 81st minute when Sean O'Laughlin set up Adolfo Ángel Espino for his second goal of the season to tie the match at one. The hosts had a couple off-target shots in the minutes that followed and the Fleet nearly had a winner in the closing seconds, but Evan Williams' shot was saved. However, Erskine rallied from late deficit and picked up a valuable point in conference play on the road on Tuesday.

THE PLAYER
Senior Adolfo Ángel Espino came off the bench and scored his lone shot of the game in the 81st minute to draw the Fleet level.

THE TEAM
Erskine was outshot by SWU, 22 to 6, and the Warriors had a 7 to 3 advantage in shots on target. However, the Fleet made six saves, five of which came from fill-in goalkeeper Owen Emeleus, which kept the Fleet within a goal before Espino's equalizer.

WHAT'S NEXT?
Erskine finishes the regular season with three home matches, starting this weekend against the East Division leaders, Francis Marion University (7-3-3, 7-1-2 CC), on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
