DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College women's volleyball team (5-14, 3-8 CC) defeated Livingstone College (8-8, 3-4 CIAA) in five sets at New Trent Gym on Tuesday night.
It took the full five sets for the Fleet to pick up the victory, but they finished with a convincing Set 5, starting on a 10-0 run and then winning the final four points behind serving runs from
Meghan DeWalt and
Jordyn Autry.

Meghan DeWalt ran the Erskine offense to an impressive .378 hitting percentage in the final two sets as the Fleet came back for the win. DeWalt dished out 39 assists and also saved her individual best for the end, posting all four of her aces on a 10-point scoring run to begin the fifth set.
THE TEAM
Erskine hit .213 (52 K / 23 E / 136 A) for the match, and held the Blue Bears to a .122 hitting percentage. The Fleet also totaled a joint season-high 13 aces, including four each from DeWalt and
Rylee Bath.
