FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – The Erskine College women's volleyball team (2-11, 1-5 CC) was defeated by Emmanuel University (7-5, 5-1 CC) in four sets at the Shaw Athletic Center on Tuesday night.

THE TEAM
Erskine hit .164 (43 K / 22 E / 128 A) for the match, but the Lions posted an impressive .412 hitting percentage. The Fleet hit .270 in their opening-set victory but were unable to contain Emmanuel over the next three sets.

Erskine returns home for a pair of matches this weekend, starting Friday night against Ferrum College (2-9, 0-7 CC) at 6 p.m.
