ROME, Ga. – The Erskine College women's basketball team (3-13, 2-9 CC) was defeated by Shorter University (12-3, 7-2 CC) by a score of 69-53 at the Winthrop-King Centre on Wednesday evening.

Erskine shot 36% (17-47) from the field and 29% (5-17) from the three-point line, as well as 64% (14-22) from the free throw line. However, the Hawks held 19 to 5 advantage in second chance points.
