JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Erskine College men's volleyball team (1-1) split a pair of matches on the road in the state of Florida to begin their 2025 campaign over the weekend. The Fleet lost a five-setter at Barry University (1-0) on Thursday evening, but took care of Edward Waters University (0-1) in straight sets on Saturday for
Jason Sall's first win as a head coach.

True Bauer began his season on a high, averaging 4 kills per set over the two matches, including a career-high 24 kills on a .362 hitting percentage in the season opener at Barry. Bauer followed that up with 8 kills and hit .357 against Edward Waters, while also adding in 3 blocks and a pair of aces.
