DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College men's volleyball team (13-9, 9-4 CC) defeated the University of Mount Olive (15-9, 8-5 CC) in straight sets at Belk Arena on Saturday afternoon.

Before the match, Erskine honored Noah Van, Umar Abdullah, Kacper Rybarczyk, Francisco Pomar, and Edgerrin Austin, its 2024 Senior Class.

THE PLAYER
One of the five seniors honored before the match, Francisco Pomar ran the Erskine offense at a high level, totaling 34 assists across the three sets. Pomar also added three digs, an ace, and a kill to his stat line in his final regular season match inside Belk Arena.

THE TEAM
Erskine hit .227 (40 K / 18 E / 97 TA) for the match, while holding UMO to just a .169 hitting percentage, thanks in part to eight blocks from the Fleet. Erskine also limited Mount Olive to just one ace in the match, while totaling five aces themselves.

Erskine wraps up the regular season on the road at the regular season champions, Belmont Abbey College (17-4, 12-1 CC), on Thursday at 7 p.m.
