MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Erskine Men's and Women's Track & Field teams continued their seasons at the 2024 Conference Carolinas Outdoor Track & Field Championships, held at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium over the weekend.
The men's team earned 83 points, finishing in 5th place as a team in the event.
Joey Tindale was named the Male Track Athlete of the Year in Conference Carolinas in 2024. Tindale won the 1500m, 500m, and the 10000m, earning 30 points individually.
Ángel Galán Redondo won the 3000m Steeplechase and finished in the top-3 in the 1500m, 5000m.
Shaun Jones tallied points in the 110m and 400m hurdles, while
Greyson Marlowe earned top-5 finishes in both the Discus and Hammer. Also,
Jadan James improved on his own school record in the Triple Jump with a distance of 14.10m.
The women's team earned 12 points overall and finished in 11th as a team.
Katherine Thompson finished in the top 3 in the 800m and 1500m.
