DUE WEST, S.C. – The 2024 Erskine Women's Tennis team continued its rise up the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) polls released earlier this week. The Fleet are currently ranked No. 15 in the latest Division II Women's Tennis national poll, while checking in at No. 5 in the Southeast Region rankings.

This is Erskine's highest national ranking in program history, eclipsing the previous high of 17. The Fleet won 14 consecutive matches at one point during this season, including a perfect 7-0 start in Conference Carolinas play. Erskine reached its highest regional ranking in program history (No. 3) back in early March of this year as well.

The Flying Fleet's regular season finale against King this weekend has been forfeited by the Tornado, meaning Erskine finishes the regular season at 17-3 overall and 8-1 in conference play. The Fleet are still in play for the top seed in the upcoming Conference Carolinas Tournament, which begins Friday, April 26 at the Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter, S.C.
