DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College men's volleyball team (9-6, 5-3 CC) was defeated by Belmont Abbey College (11-2, 7-1 CC) in five sets in a match between the top two teams in the Conference Carolinas standings at Belk Arena on Friday night.

Despite the heartbreaking loss, sophomore outside hitter
Pablo Zamar did all he could to help the Fleet on Friday. Zamar totaled a career-best 22 kills, while also adding nine digs, two blocks, and an ace.
THE TEAM
Erskine hit .229 (66 K / 31 E / 153 TA) for the match, but were undone by 15 blocks from the Crusaders.
WHAT'S NEXT?Â
Erskine begins an extensive road trip, starting with a match against Lindenwood University (6-9) on Thursday at 5 p.m. The match will be played at McKendree University, before the Fleet take on the Bearcats on Friday.
