DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College men's volleyball team (5-3, 1-0 CC) defeated Emmanuel University (1-6, 0-1 CC) in four sets at Belk Arena on Tuesday night.
After the Lions stunned the Fleet in a tightly-contested opening set, Erskine responded in a huge way, taking each of the final three sets in rather convincing fashion.

Kacper Rybarczyk stole the show on Tuesday, spearheading the Fleet comeback with a team-leading 18 kills to go with a season-high 5 aces. Rybarczyk hit an impressive .471 and also added 8 digs and a block in the victory.
THE TEAM
Erskine hit .292 (54 K / 16 E / 130 TA) for the match and totaled 11 blocks as well as seven aces. The Fleet also held Emmanuel to just a .190 hitting percentage, despite the Lions hitting .273 in their opening set win.
WHAT'S NEXT?Â
Erskine continues conference play on its home court this weekend, taking on the preseason favorites, North Greenville University (2-3, 1-0 CC) on Saturday 2 p.m. The Fleet dethroned NGU in their most recent meeting, a four-set victory in Due West last season.
