DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College men's basketball team (3-16, 0-12 CC) was defeated by the University of Mount Olive (6-15, 5-6 CC) by a score of 71-63 at Kornegay Arena on Saturday evening.

Despite the loss, senior
Jaylen Prioleau filled the stat sheet, totaling 13 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 blocks, and 3 steals while committing just one turnover as he had his fingerprints all over the Fleet's second-half comeback attempt.
THE TEAM
Erskine shot 43% (26-60) from the field and 31% (10-32) from the three-point line, but were just 33% (1-3) from the free throw line. The Fleet were undone by an offensive onslaught in the first half by the Lions, who scored 48 points on a remarkable 62% shooting in the opening period. The Fleet totaled 24 points in the paint, but were minus-11 from the free throw line.

Erskine returns home and pauses conference play for a rematch against Johnson & Wales University (8-10) on Monday at 7 p.m. The Wildcats took down the Fleet by a score of 89-62 back in late November.
