MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. – The Fleet Women's Golf Team continued their spring 2024 season at the Low Tide Intercollegiate, hosted by Limestone University, on Monday and Tuesday. The Fleet finished in 12th place as a team and were led by junior
Amanda Guzman, who was named the Conference Carolinas Women's Golfer of the Week on Wednesday.
A junior from Viña del Mar, Chile, Amanda Guzman of Erskine collected a top-50 individual finish. Guzman finished with a three-round tally of 234 (77-77-80) to end her efforts in a tie for 41st individually and was the highest finisher of any Conference Carolinas women's golfer this week.
LOW TIDE INTERCOLLEGIATE
- The 54-hole event, hosted by Dunes West Golf and River Club in Mount Pleasant, S.C. is a two-day event.
- The course played to a par of 72.
- The field consists of 13 teams along with 10 individuals, for a total of 75 participants.
CONFERENCE CAROLINAS FINISHES:
UNC Pembroke (13th): 318-330-330=978 (+114)
THE FIELD
The hosts of the event, Limestone, won the title with an 11-over par performance as a team, leading to a five-stroke victory. The Saints were led by individual winner, Claudia Hastings, who defeated North Georgia's Ellie Rippee in a tiebreaker after both finished with a two-under par score through the three rounds.

Erskine competes in the Converse Spring Invite, held at the Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, S.C., on March 11-12.
