DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College men's basketball team (6-21, 1-17 CC) was defeated by Converse University (18-10, 10-8 CC) by a score of 67-55 at Belk Arena on Wednesday night.

Erskine shot 35% (19-54) from the field and 32% (9-28) from the three-point line, as well as 80% (8-10) from the free throw line. The Fleet got 27 points from its bench in a balanced scoring effort, but were undone by nine made threes from the Valkyries in the first half.

Erskine's 2023-24 season came to an end on Wednesday night, as the Fleet did not qualify for next week's Conference Carolinas Tournament. So, the Fleet will turn their attention to the offseason and preparations for next year.
