DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College men's volleyball team (7-4, 3-1 CC) defeated King University (1-11, 1-3 CC) in straight sets at Belk Arena on Saturday afternoon.

THE PLAYER
The weekend as a whole could not have gone much better for the Fleet, and Saturday's performance from sophomore middle blocker
Wiktor Ankurowski was about the same. The Poland native tallied 9 kills on 9 swings while also adding two aces, three digs and a pair of blocks.
THE TEAM
Erskine hit .431 (39 K / 11 E / 65 TA) for the match, a season-best in a conference match for the Fleet. Erskine also finished with five aces as a team, while holding the Tornado to just one ace.
WHAT'S NEXT?Â
Erskine starts a three-match road trip next weekend with a contest against the University of Mount Olive (8-3, 2-2 CC) on Friday at 7 p.m. The teams split their two meetings last year, but Erskine took down the Trojans in four sets in Mount Olive, the Fleet's first win at UMO since the 2016 season.
