DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College women's basketball team (1-2) was defeated by USC Aiken (1-4) by a score of 79-67 at Belk Arena on Wednesday evening.

Erskine closed the second quarter strong to take a two-point lead into the half but were unable to keep pace with USC Aiken in the final two periods.

Erskine shot 36% (31-87) from the field but just 11% (2-18) from the three-point line. The Fleet outscored the Pacers in the paint, 54 to 34, and held a decided 14 to 4 advantage in the steals department.
