MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Erskine College football team (1-7, 0-5 GSC) was defeated by Chowan University (3-6, 2-4 GSC) by a score of 21-3 at James G. Garrison Stadium on Saturday.

• Quarterback Ethan Damron earned his first collegiate start and completed 18 of his 30 passes for 120 yards.
• The Fleet totaled 61 rushing yards in the game.
• Rodshaun Dorsey led the team in receptions (6), and receiving yards (64), while six different Fleet receivers caught a pass.
• Joshua Thomas led the Fleet defense with 9 tackles, while Jamaar Moore added two tackles for loss, as part of 8 TFLs by the Fleet as a whole.

Erskine wraps up the regular season as No. 12 University of West Alabama (8-1, 4-1 GSC) next Saturday at 2 p.m. EST. This is a makeup of a game originally scheduled for early October that was moved following the effects of Hurricane Helene earlier this season.
