Erskine Women's Soccer | Fleet fall against Converse

DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College women's soccer team (1-6-1, 0-6-1 CC) was defeated by Converse University (4-4-1, 2-1-1 CC) by a score of 2-0 at Huggins Field on Saturday.

The visitors took the lead in the 38th minute, but the Fleet were valiant defensively to stay within striking distance for most of the afternoon, until the Valkyries added a second goal in the closing minutes. Redshirt freshman goalkeeper Valentina Santana made nine saves in the match.
