DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College women's basketball team (3-14, 1-9 CC) was defeated by Francis Marion University (13-5, 8-1 CC) by a score of 69-48 at Belk Arena on Saturday afternoon.

Erskine shot 27% (16-59) from the field, and just 16% (3-19) from the three-point line, as well as 59% (13-22) from the free throw line. The Fleet and FMU each had 17 turnovers, but the Patriots totaled 24 points off those turnovers to just 10 for Erskine.

WHAT'S NEXT? 
Erskine continues its gauntlet with a rematch against the southwest leaders, Emmanuel University (12-6, 8-2 CC), on Wednesday at 5 p.m. The Fleet came up just short at Emmanuel 11 days again, losing by a score of 59-56.
