DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College women's volleyball team (1-14, 1-5 CC) was defeated by Emory & Henry College (4-9, 1-5 SAC) in five sets at Belk Arena on Saturday. Erskine won the opening set convincingly and used a late run to win the third set, but came up just short in the final two sets.

Brianna Beyerle totaled a career-high 10 kills on an impressive .429 hitting percentage. The middle blocker also added three blocks, including a pair of solo blocks in the match.
WHAT'S NEXT?
Erskine continues its brief non-conference stretch when they go on the road on Tuesday to take on Winston-Salem State University (2-7, 0-2 CIAA). First serve is set for 6 p.m. and will be just the second ever meeting between the teams. The Fleet swept WSSU on the road in straight sets in 2019.
