WINGATE, N.C. – The Erskine College football team (0-5, 0-3 SAC) was defeated by Wingate University (3-2, 2-1 SAC) by a score of 45-0 at Irwin Belk Stadium on Saturday evening.

• Wingate's QB Brooks Bentley totaled 125 yards through the air as he finished the night as the game's leading passer.
• Wingate RB Corey Siemer totaled 78 rushing yards and three scores, all coming in the first half of the game.
• Marquell Brown was Erskine's leading rusher on the night, going for 23 yards on just 3 carries.
• Nolan Holloway led the Fleet defense with a game-high 11 tackles.

Erskine stays on the road next weekend to take on Mars Hill University (3-1, 2-1 SAC) at 2:30 p.m. The Lions took down the Fleet in Greenwood last season by a score of 33-13.
