Erskine scored three runs in the fifth inning, including

HOW IT HAPPENED
A
Summer Nelsen sacrifice fly canceled out an LMU run in the top of the first. In the third inning, the Railsplitters regained the lead, but
Kyndall Chandler immediately answered back with an RBI single to tie the game again. In the fifth inning, Lincoln Memorial hit a pair of solo home runs and took a 4-2 lead. But, as they did all game, Erskine wasted no time making up the deficit. Savannah Koester led off the frame with a walk, and
Hayden Bradley followed with a single to set up the Erskine threat. Freshman
Amber Clark slapped a single the other way, scoring Koester and making it a one run game. Then, it was Chandler again, who came through with another RBI single to tie the game. But, the Fleet weren't done there as they employed a delayed double steal with Clark and pinch runner
Hailey Watson, with Clark swiping home to put Erskine ahead, 5-4. And starting pitcher
Kaley Ingle saved her best innings for the most important ones, putting up zeroes in the sixth and seventh, and finishing off a huge win over a ranked team.
THE PLAYER
Kyndall Chandler went 2-for-3 at the plate with a pair of RBI singles in the Fleet victory.
