DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College softball team has canceled its opening weekend trip to Florida in the Flagler Invitational due to inclement weather, announced by Head Coach Alleen Hawkins on Wednesday morning. 

The Fleet will now begin their 2023 campaign in the Lander Invitational next weekend, with their first game being against Claflin University on Friday, February 10 at 3 p.m. Erskine will play four games in the Lander Invitational, before a road doubleheader the following Tuesday at USC Aiken.

Erskine's 2023 home opener will be in the annual Fleet/Bearcat Tournament, co-hosted by Erskine and Lander, on February 17-18. The Fleet will play all three of their games at the Erskine Softball Complex, beginning with a bout against Carson-Newman University on Friday at 12 p.m.
