GREENWOOD, S.C. – The Erskine College football team (0-11, 0-9 SAC) was defeated by Barton College (6-5, 4-5 SAC) by a score of 48-14 at J.W. Babb Stadium on Saturday to close out the 2023 season.
Justin Wilson hauled in a 72-yard touchdown on Erskine's first offensive play of the afternoon, and
De'Arius Hazel punched it in from a yard out on 4th down right before the half to cut the deficit to 20-14 at the break, but the second half belonged to the Bulldogs.

- Craig Pender completed 11 of his 16 passes for 141 yards and a touchdown as the Fleet outgained the Bulldogs through the air, 142 to 74.
- Barton's Jordan Terrell had a career game on the ground, totaling 403 rushing yards and four touchdowns.
- Justin Wilson was the game's leading receiver with three receptions for 81 yards, including a 72-yard touchdown on Erskine's first play from scrimmage.
- On his senior day, Nolan Holloway, had a game-high 12 tackles, while Landon Zeigler added 10 tackles.
