Erskine Men's Golf | Fleet wrap up play at Catechee Fall Invitational

HARTWELL, Ga. – The Erskine College men's golf team continued their 2023 fall season in the Catechee Fall Invitational, hosted by Lander University earlier this week. Erskine finished in 19th place as a team and were led by Laurenz Meifels.
  
CATECHEE FALL INVITATIONAL
  • The 54-hole event, hosted by Catechee Golf Club in Hartwell, Ga. is a two-day tournament.
  • The course played to a par of 71.
  • The field consists of 20 teams along with 8 individuals, for a total of 108 participants.

THE FIELD
North Georgia won the event with an impressive 37-under scorecard, cruising to the victory by 16 strokes. Lincoln Memorial finished in second place as a team, led by individual winner, Max Reynolds, who finished 15-under par in the event, capped by a seven-under performance in Round 3.

WHAT'S NEXT?
The Fleet wrap up their fall season at the Currahee Collegiate Invitational, held in Toccoa, Georgia, on October 23-24.
