DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College women's soccer team (0-15-1, 0-12-1 CC) was defeated by King University (6-10-1, 5-7-1 CC) by a score of 7-1 at Huggins Field on Saturday.
Jordan Schuhlein scored in the 17th minute, cutting the Fleet deficit in half and giving the Fleet a lifeline headed into the break, but the Tornado's early goals and late tack-on strikes were the difference.

Jordan Schuhlein used speed and persistence to score her team-leading fourth goal of the season in the 17th minute. Schuhlein also went the distance in the match, playing all 90 minutes.

Erskine was outshot by King 20 to 6, and the Tornado had a 14 to 2 advantage in shots on target.

Erskine did not qualify for the upcoming Conference Carolinas Tournament, so their 2023 season came to an end on Saturday.
