CENTRAL, S.C. – The Erskine College women's volleyball team (5-18, 3-8 CC) defeated Southern Wesleyan University (2-18, 1-12 CC) in straight sets at Tysinger Gymnasium on Friday evening. Freshman outside hitter Rebecca Yohe led the Fleet attack with a match-high 13 kills and four Erskine players totaled 13 or more digs in a complete effort from the Fleet.

In what was an all-around team performance on the road, setter Lena Mykins controlled the Fleet attack with 32 assists and contributed defensively with 15 digs, her eighth double-double of her rookie campaign.

Erskine hit .164 (42 K / 20 E / 134 TA) for the match, while holding SWU to just a .105 hitting percentage.

Erskine returns home to begin a three-match home stand this weekend, starting against the Southwest Division leaders, North Greenville University (19-5, 11-2 CC), on Saturday at 2 p.m.
