DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College women's soccer team (0-10-1, 0-7-1 CC) earned a draw against Southern Wesleyan University (1-8-2, 0-7-1 CC) at Huggins Field on Wednesday. The Fleet scored three times in the first half, behind a brace from Jordan Schuhlein before Kaylee Damsen scored just before the break. But, SWU answered with three goals of their own in the second half as Erskine was forced to settle for a point.

Erskine was outshot by SWU 16 to 7 and the Warriors had a 10 to 5 advantage in shots on target.

Freshman Jordan Schuhlein scored twice in a first half to open the scoring for the Fleet, her first multi-goal match of her young career.

Erskine goes on the road to take on the reigning Conference Carolinas champions, UNC Pembroke (6-3-2, 4-1-2 CC) on Saturday at 2 p.m.
