DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College women's volleyball team (2-2, 0-0 CC) split a pair of matches to wrap the Erskine Invitational on Saturday. The Fleet defeated the University of West Georgia (1-2, 0-0 GSC) in four sets, 3-1 (25-19, 25-19, 17-25, 25-14) before dropping a heartbreaker against Coker University (2-1, 0-0 SAC) in five sets, 3-2 (25-15, 20-25, 25-19, 21-25, 14-16) in the nightcap.

Erskine goes on the road for an early-season tournament next weekend, as they travel to Cleveland, Tennessee for the Lee Invitational. The Fleet will open the tournament on Friday with matches against Saint Leo University (2-2, 0-0 SSC) at 11 a.m. And then against Trevecca Nazarene University (4-0, 0-0 GMAC) at 2:30 p.m.
