The Fleet defeated the University of West Georgia (1-2, 0-0 GSC) in four sets, 3-1 (25-19, 25-19, 17-25, 25-14) before dropping a heartbreaker against Coker University (2-1, 0-0 SAC) in five sets, 3-2 (25-15, 20-25, 25-19, 21-25, 14-16) in the nightcap.
