HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME 1: Lees-McRae 5-1 Erskine
Starter Kaley Ingle allowed just three hits over the first three innings of her afternoon as she stifled the Bobcats offense and kept the game scoreless. But, Lees-McRae broke through in the fourth inning and took a 3-0 lead. The Bobcats added a two-run single for insurance in the fifth inning and made it a 5-0 game. Erskine got on the board in the seventh thanks to a solo home run from Faith Belue, her second big fly in as many days and team-leading sixth of the year, but the Fleet fell in Game 1, 5-1.

GAME 2: Lees-McRae 7-1 Erskine
The Bobcats continued to held the Erskine offense in check through the early stages of Game 2 as they led 4-0 after three innings. Maddie Ingram got a run back for Erskine on her RBI single in the fourth inning, but LMC scored the final three runs of the game as they won Game 2, 7-1.

THE PLAYER
Faith Belue had a multi-hit game in the first game of the doubleheader, with a leadoff single in the third inning and a solo home run in the seventh.
