DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College women's lacrosse team (0-5, 0-1 CC) was defeated by Young Harris College (5-6, 1-0 PBC) by a score of 22-9 in the Fleet's home opener at Huggins Field on Wednesday afternoon.
Faith Flanagan led the Fleet with four goals while
Chandler Werner and
Aleiza Manns added a pair of goals and
Julia Richey found the back of the net for the first time this season.

Faith Flanagan scored four goals on a team-high 10 shots in the match.
THE TEAM
Erskine was outshot 32 to 17 and lost the turnover battled by a narrow 14 to 13 margin.

Erskine resumes conference play this weekend with a home match against Barton College on Saturday afternoon at 12:00 p.m.
