THE MATCH
Lees-McRae was in control for most of the first half and Sierra Shuey scored off a Bobcats' free kick to give them a 12th-minute lead. Erskine had just one shot in the first half, but it was a great chance after an initial error from the LMC goalie allowed the ball to drop right at the feet of
Kathryn Mobley. Mobley let off a first time shot but the Bobcats' goalie amended her earlier mistake by making the save and keeping the visitors in front. Haley Lowman doubled the Bobcats lead in the 35th minute as Erskine trailed 2-0 at the break. Alexa Todd scored on the other side of the halftime whistle before an own goal in the final minutes meant Lees-McRae won 4-0 in Erskine's home finale.
THE TEAM
Lees-McRae outshot Erskine 12 to 2 and had a 5Â to 0 advantage in shots on goal.
