GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas released their men's golf preseason poll on Friday morning, voted on by the coaches in the conference. Erskine sits at number 2 in the poll with Belmont Abbey securing the top spot by only 2 votes. Below is the official release from Conference Carolinas.
The Crusaders, who finished tied for third in last year's event, garnered 57 points and four-of-nine first-place votes. Erskine, who returns reigning Conference Carolinas Golfer of the Year
Alberto Dominguez, was picked second with 55 points and three first-place nods while Barton (49) and Mount Olive (46) rounded out the top four and split the remaining two first-place tallies.
King was selected fifth with 34 points followed by North Greenville (33), Southern Wesleyan (26), Emmanuel (16) and Chowan (8).
The spring season gets underway on Feb. 14 with the conference championships slated for April 10-12 at Cutter Creek Golf Club in Snow Hill, North Carolina.
