DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College men's basketball team (2-13, 2-9 CC) dropped a game on the road against Conference Carolinas opponent Belmont Abbey, despite a Fleet single game scoring high from
Tyrell Oglesby. Oglesby led the Fleet on offense and defense, tallying a single game season high in points with 27, while also leading the Fleet in steals and assists. This is only Oglesby's 3rd game in the roatation for the Fleet and he has already made a strong impact. Erskine fought hard but eventually fell 89-115.
THE PLAYER
Tryrell Oglesby led the Fleet with a season high 27 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals on 7-14 shooting and 4-8 from behind the arc. Oglesby also added 9 free throws, shooting 90.0% from the foul line for the game.
THE TEAM
Erskine shot 29-71 (40.8%) from the floor and was 12-28 (42.9%) from beyond the arc. The Fleet shot 19-27 (70.4%) from the foul line for the game.
