DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College women's basketball team (0-10, 0-8 CC) battled top ranked Conference Carolinas opponent, Mount Olive on Saturday. The Fleet came into the game looking to score their first conference win of the season, but were not able to overcome the strong Trojan offense. Erskine played well to start the game, keeping it close in the first half, but after halftime, the Fleet were not able to get in rhythm. The Fleet eventually fell, 32-61.
THE PLAYER
Carmen Chandler led the charge for the Fleet on both ends of the floor, contributing 10 points and 5 steals to the Erskine effort.
THE TEAM
Erskine shot 13-41 (31.7%) from the floor and was 3-14 (21.4%) from beyond the arc. The Fleet shot 3-6 (50.0%) from the foul line in the game.
