DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College women's lacrosse team (0-7, 0-7 CC) lost the regular season finale to Chowan University (2-6, 2-6 CC) 20-11 on Saturday afternoon at Huggins Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The opening 30 minutes were the most competitive played by the Fleet all season.
Brittany Smith scored to give Erskine an early 1-0 lead on the game's first draw control. The Hawks countered with a pair of unassisted goals and took a 3-1 advantage just five minutes in.
Faith Flanagan scored two of her six goals in a quick 33 second time-span to tie the match at 4-4. The Hawks, however, spouted off the next four goals and would not look back. Chowan led 9-5 at half and outscored the Fleet by five in the second half to win 20-11 on Senior Night.
THE PLAYER
Faith Flanagan scored six of the Fleet's 11 goals. Flanagan was also 3-for-7 on free position shot attempts with six successful draw controls.
THE TEAM
Erskine was outshot 45 to 25 while the Fleet held a 20-13 advantage in draw controls.
