- Luize Valtere won both of the matches she played in, highlighted by an exciting comeback win against her singles competition which saw two extended sets.
- The Fleet were picked to finish second in the Conference Carolinas preseason poll and face emerging Conference Carolinas competition in Francis Marion on Saturday.

Weather permitting, the Fleet wrap up the week with a matchup against Francis Marion University (0-1) on Saturday. The matches are set to begin at 1:00 PM at the Kassab tennis courts.
